A three-year-old girl from Kalyan became the youngest of the 41 confirmed coronavirus cases reported in Maharashtra so far. As per the report, her parents were also tested positive for the coronavirus. According to the information, the father of the girl had recently travelled to the United States of America. The 37-year-old has been kept in isolation at the Kasturba Hospital after he was tested positive for coronavirus (COVID 19). Meanwhile, his wife and daughter, who were also kept in isolation, were tested positive for pandemic later. Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation’s health department stated in a release that the 33-year-old female and three-year-old female, wife, and daughter have been diagnosed with the coronavirus in Kalyan. Maharashtra has reported the highest number of coronavirus positive cases in India. Earlier on Tuesday, Maharashtra witnessed its first coronavirus death after a 64-year-old man passed away in Kasturba hospital in Mumbai, taking the death toll in India to 3. Deepak Mhaisekar, Divisional Commissioner of Pune stated that "One person has been tested positive for COVID 19 in Pimpri-Chinchwad on Tuesday; he has travel history to the USA. With this, the total number of COVID 19 cases has climbed to 41 in Maharashtra.
