Coronavirus: India records 1.32 lakh new infections, 2713 deaths in last 24 hours

Coronavirus India Updates: While the second wave of coronavirus in India has been declining, the daily new cases of COVID-19 continue to remain below the 1.5 lakh mark. As per the coronavirus updates given by the Union Health Ministry, India on Friday reported 1,32,364 new COVID-19 cases, 2,07,071 discharges, and 2713 deaths in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 2,85,74,350 while total discharges have gone up to 2,65,97,655. Also Read | Third wave of coronavirus in Maharashtra? Over 8,000 children test positive in 1 district The death toll in the country has reached 3,40,702 while the active cases stood at 16,35,993. Coronavirus India Updates: While second wave of coronavirus has been declining, daily new cases of COVID-19 in India remain below 1.5 lakh. As of now, a total of 22,41,09,448 people have been administered COVID-19 vaccines in the country. According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as many as 35,74,33,846 samples have been tested in the country thus far, including 20,75,428 samples tested on Thursday. Coronavirus India Updates: While second wave of coronavirus has been declining, daily new cases of COVID-19 in India remain below 1.5 lakh. Five states have registered the maximum number of cases. Tamil Nadu reported 24,405 cases while Kerala recorded 18,853 cases, Karnataka 18,324, Maharashtra 15,229, and Andhra Pradesh 11,421 cases.
