Coronavirus India Update: Recoveries fall below new cases, once again
Coronavirus India Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in India has increased to 91,39,866 after 44,059 new COVID-19 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, as of Monday morning.
India reported 511 new deaths taking the death toll due to COVID-19 to 1,33,738 while the total number of active coronavirus cases in India stands at 4,43,486.

Total discharged cases in the country stand at 85,62,642 with 41,024 new discharges in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry stated while giving a coronavirus India update.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 13,25,82,730 samples tested for COVID-19 up to November 22. Of these, 8,49,596 samples were tested on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministry asked people to "Avoid mass gatherings for their own safety." "Stay in touch with your loved ones through virtual platforms," he added.
Union Health Minister, Dr. Harsh Vardhan, said that "COVID 19 will soon be a past episode of the 21st century. Our treatment protocol for COVID patients is well defined now."
"Fewer and fewer people infected are dying. We will have vaccines available very soon, and the cases will significantly go down in the next few months,” he added.
