Chandigarh reports 16 new cases of coronavirus; Mohali reports 6
The total number of coronavirus cases in Chandigarh has increased to 523 after 16 new cases were reported from the Union Territory. Of total cases, 113 are active cases and 403 have been cured and discharged. A total of 7 patients have died due to the pandemic.
Of new cases, 2 of them are from Sector 55, 4 from Sector 38, one from Sector 51, 2 from Sector 45, one from Sector 40, 3 from Manimajra, one from sector 52, 42 and 27 each.
Meanwhile, the active cases in the district have gone up to 78. The district has so far reported six deaths while 253 people have been cured till now.
