With 511 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,26,230
Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,26,230 after 511 new cases of COVID-19 were reported from the state on Thursday.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department on Thursday, the death toll in the state has increased to 3,954 after 29 COVID patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.
Amritsar reported 1 new death, Bathinda reported 1, Fatehgarh Sahib 1, Fazilka 1, Gurdaspur 2, Jalandhar 2, Kapurthala 2, Ludhiana 3, SAS Nagar 9, Muktsar 1, Patiala 1, and Ropar 5.

The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 1,15,186 after 1,111 new recoveries were reported from the state on Thursday.
Among new recoveries from COVID-19 in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 98 new recoveries, Jalandhar reported 97, Patiala 71, SAS Nagar 87, Amritsar 72, Gurdaspur 55, Bathinda 78, Hoshiarpur 41, Ferozpur 37, Pathankot 56, and Sangrur 12.

Likewise, Kapurthala reported 28, Faridkot 23, Muktsar 198, Fazilka 10, Moga 32, Ropar 17, Fatehgarh Sahib 14, Barnala 20, Tarn Taran 39, SBS Nagar 12, and Mansa 14.
Among the new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 81 new cases, Jalandhar 64, Patiala 32, SAS Nagar 66, Amritsar 45, Gurdaspur 33, Bathinda 29, Hoshiarpur 32, and Ferozepur 7.
Likewise, Pathankot reported 16 new cases of COVID-19, Sangrur 8, Kapurthala 5, Faridkot 15, Muktsar 12, Fazilka 12, Moga 3, Ropar 13, Fatehgarh Sahib 9, Barnala 10, Tarn Taran 10, SBS Nagar 4 and Mansa 5.
