Coronavirus Update: With 704 new cases, Punjab's COVID-19 tally rises to 1,39,184
Coronavirus Update: The total number of coronavirus cases in Punjab has increased to 1,39,184 after 704 new COVID-19 cases were reported from the state in the last 24 hours, as of Wednesday evening.
According to the media bulletin issued by the Punjab Health Department providing coronavirus update, the death toll in the state has increased to 4,389 with 31 new deaths.

Amritsar reported 1 new death while Bathinda reported 2, Faridkot 1, Fazilka 1, Ferozepur 1, Hoshiarpur 2, Jalandhar 2,Kapurthala 3, Ludhiana 3, Moga 3, SAS Nagar 4, Patiala 4, Ropar 1, Sangrur 2, and Tarn Taran 1.
The total number of recoveries in the state has increased to 1,29,549 after 460 new recoveries were reported from the state.

Ludhiana reported 73 new recoveries while Jalandhar 57, Patiala 43, SAS Nagar 68, Amritsar 18, Gurdaspur-6, Bathinda 37, Hoshiarpur 32, Ferozepur-49, Pathankot 4, Sangrur 4, Kapurthala 5, Faridkot 5, Muktsar 23, Fazilka 9, Moga 1,Ropar 5, Fatehgarh Sahib 3, Barnala 5, Tarn Taran 5, SBS Nagar 3, and Mansa 5.
Among new coronavirus cases in Punjab, Ludhiana reported 103 new cases, while Jalandhar reported 100, Patiala 69, SAS Nagar 119, Amritsar 25, Gurdaspur 23, Bathinda 68, Hoshiarpur 19, Ferozepur 9, Pathankot 17, and Sangrur 16.
Likewise, Kapurthala reported 28 new cases, Faridkot 23, Muktsar 13, Fazilka 32, Moga 7, Ropar 1, FG Sahib 5, Barnala 3, Tarn Taran 3, SBS Nagar 15 and Mansa 5.
