CWG bronze medalist Pooja Sihag’s husband dies under suspicious circumstances
National wrestler Ajay Nandal, husband of bronze medalist Pooja Sihag, died under mysterious circumstances on Saturday. Indian wrestler Pooja Sihag won bronze in the women's 76kg freestyle at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

Nandal's body has been sent for an autopsy and report is awaited. According to information received, several people were drinking near a college when the incident happened.
According to DSP Mahesh Kumar, Police Department Civil Line, reports came to the police on Saturday night that the health of several people had deteriorated in a car and that they were taken to Holy Heart Hospital, where it was declared that the husband of international wrestler Pooja Nandal, wrestler Ajay, has passed away
However, the deceased's father says that Ravi, Nandal's partner died from a drug overdose. The incident is said to have happened at 7pm.
Indian wrestler Pooja Sihag won bronze in the women's 76 kg freestyle final after a dominant performance against Australia's Naomi de Bruine at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
