Delhi reports 10 new cases of Omicron variant, tally rises to 20
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain on Friday said that 10 new cases of Covid-19 variant Omicron were reported in Delhi, taking the total number of cases of the variant here to 20.
While giving an update about the cases of Covid-19 variant Omicron in Delhi, Satyendar Jain said that a total of 10 people, out of these 20, have been discharged.

Amid fears of B.1.1.529 Covid-19 variant or Omicron, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla on Thursday held a review meeting on Covid-19 with Union Territories (UTs).

Home Ministry, reportedly, said that it was a "regular review meeting on Covid-19".
The meeting took place via video conferencing to review the Covid-19 situation in the UTs, steps to prevent the spread of the new variant of the deadly pandemic Omicron and the need to focus on some specific areas that might be the reason behind the threat of further spread of the virus, the source said requesting anonymity.
