Dera Sirsa chief Ram Rahim named as a key accused in Bargari case

15 Days after the results of Punjab elections 2022, Special Investigation Team (SIT) has named Dera Sirsa chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim as the main culprit in the case of desecration of Guru Granth Sahib at Bargari. The probe team told the court that Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim, who is currently lodged in Sunaria Jail, was also involved in the conspiracy. Judicial Magistrate Madam Tarjani directed the Superintendent of Sunaria Jail to produce the Dera chief in the court on May 4 at 10 am via video conference.
