Karwa Chauth 2023: Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha shares glimpses of first Karwa Chauth
Mumbai, Maharashtra, November 2: Parineeti Chopra, the acclaimed actor, and Raghav Chadha, an AAP Member of Parliament, marked their inaugural Karwa Chauth celebration in a manner that radiated couple goals. Parineeti graciously shared a series of images from their special day, offering a glimpse into their joyous festivities.
Parineeti adorned a stunning red traditional ensemble, complemented by pink chooras (bangles), jhunkas (earrings), and a bindi. Meanwhile, Raghav Chadha donned a yellow kurta pajama with a sadri.
In one of the images, the couple is seen beaming for the camera, their happiness evident. Another photo captures a sweet moment as Raghav tenderly applies mehendi on Parineeti's hands.
Parineeti conveyed her sentiments in the caption, saying, "Happy first Karwa Chauth my love." Prior to this, she had given her followers a glimpse of her intricate mehendi, sharing an Instagram story displaying a picture from the auspicious Karwa Chauth celebration. The mehendi art featured a depiction of a woman holding a chhanni (sieve) in her hand, along with the text, "Waiting with a moon emoji."
Raghav Chadha and Parineeti Chopra exchanged their vows on September 24 at the luxurious Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Their wedding ceremony was graced by the presence of close friends and family, as well as renowned figures from the entertainment industry and politics.
Notable attendees included Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, tennis sensation Sania Mirza, former cricketer Harbhajan Singh, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh, Shiva Sena (UBT) leader Aditya Thackeray, and celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
The enchanting love story of Raghav and Parineeti is believed to have originated in London, where the two reportedly pursued their studies at the same college.
On the professional front, Parineeti is set to share the screen with Diljit Dosanjh in 'Chamkila,' a film directed by Imtiaz Ali. The movie centers around the lives of two renowned Punjabi singers, Amarjot Kaur and Amar Singh Chamkila.
