Fuel prices accelerate to new highs! Rs 78. 27 a litre in Delhi
Diesel prices showed a similar upward revision, with the fuel selling at Rs 69.17 a litre in Delhi, and Rs 73.64 per litre in Mumbai on Monday.
Last week, Union petroleum and natural gas minister Dharmendra Pradhan had said that the government will soon come out with a solution to tackle the troublesome rise in fuel prices.
Pradhan had also said, lesser production of oil in the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and hike in crude oil price in the international market are some of the factors affecting the fuel price.
