India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test: Bangladesh has been bowled out for 106 in the first innings of the second Test at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Friday. Indian pacers dominated the Bangla Tigers, as only three bowlers helped India dismiss Bangladesh early in the first innings. Ishant Sharma took a five-wicket haul. He dismissed Imrul Kayes, Mahmudullah, Nayeem Hasan, Ebadat Hossain and Mehidy Hasan.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav posed difficulties for batsmen of Bangla Tigers. Shami took two wickets while Umesh bagged three wickets. Shami dismissed Mushfiqur Rahim and Abu Jayed while Umesh Yadav dismissed Shadman Islam, Mominul Haque and Mohammad Mithun. The lethal trio of Ishant, Shami and Umesh Yadav dominated in Bangladesh’s first innings.

For Bangladesh, opener Shadman Islam was the highest run-scorer who scored 29 runs off 59 balls, followed by Liton Das, who retired hurt at 24. Meanwhile, Bangladesh skipper Mominul Haque, Mohammad Mithun and wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim went back to the pavilion without score.

India and Bangladesh both are making their debut with the pink ball. However, pink ball for Bangladesh wasn’t up to the mark, while Indian bowlers loved bowling with it.
