India's COVID-19: 85,07,754 total cases; Active cases reach 5,12,665

There is a rapid increase in coronavirus cases. With 45,674 new COVID-19 infections, India's total cases surge to 85,07,754.

According to health ministry, total active cases are 5,12,665 after a decrease of 3,967 in last 24 hrs. Total cured cases are 78,68,968 with 49,082 new discharges and with 559 new deaths, toll mounts to 1,26,121. in the last 24 hrs.

Maharashtra with highest COVID-19 cases has 100068 active cases, 1569090 recovered, 45115 deceased and 1714273 confirmed.

Karnataka who has reached the second spot in the list of worst affected states has 33339 active cases, 799439 recovered cases, 11369 deceased and 844147 confirmed cases.
