INX Media Case: SC grants bail to Chidambaram
INX Media Case: Supreme Court on Wednesday granted bail to former Finance Minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram in INX Media money laundering case, registered by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The apex court said that "P Chidambaram should not temper with the evidence and not influence the witnesses. He should also not give press interviews or make make public statements in connection with this case." Also, the top court directed P Chidambaram to furnish a bail bond of Rs 2 lakhs along with two sureties of the same amount.
