Jammu and Kashmir | BJP Worker Dead In Budgam Terrorist Attack

In a major incident, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker, who was shot at by terrorists on Sunday, succumbed to his injuries in the Budgam area of Jammu and Kashmir. According to the information, he sustained gunshot wounds in the attack after which his health was said to be under critical condition.

The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday confirmed that a group of militants fired upon Abdul Hamid Najar while he was out for a walk in the Mohiendpora area of Budgam. He was injured in the attack and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

Najar was served as the district president of Budgam BJP Other Backward Class (OBC) Morcha and was the third BJP leader to be targeted by militants in the past week.

Similarly, on August 6, a BJP Sarpanch Sajad Ahmad Khanday was shot at by terrorists in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP leader succumbed to his injuries on the same day.

Likewise in July, the former Bandipora BJP president Wasim Bari, his father and brother, died after they succumbed to their injuries after being attacked by the terrorists.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief Ravinder Raina said that it is a clear depiction of Pakistan’s frustration. He also asserted that the Valley would be made “free of terrorism” soon.
