Jammu and Kashmir encounter: Terrorists open fire upon BSF convoy in Kulgam
Jammu and Kashmir, Kulgam Encounter: In a shocking incident, the terrorists opened fire upon the BSF convoy in Kulgam district, Jammu and Kashmir, the IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar said on Thursday.
Vijay Jumar, on the Kulgam encounter, said that no injury has been reported in the incident. However, the terrorists have been trapped while the exchange of fire is underway.

The reinforcement has also reached. The senior officers of police, CRPF and Army are present at the spot.

The incident took place at a time when India is preparing for Independence Day 2021. On Tuesday, terrorists lobbed a grenade at security forces at Hari Singh High Street in Srinagar. As many as 10 civilians were injured during the incident.
A day ago, a BJP leader and his wife were shot dead in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. BJP’s Kisan Morcha president of Kulgam, Gulam Rasool Dar, and his wife died after terrorists opened fire at the couple in the Lal Chowk area of Anantnag.
Earlier, police personnel was killed in the Kulgam district after several militants opened fire at a police party. Similarly, a grenade blast took place in the Nawhatta area of the old city.
