Jammu and Kashmir: Pakistan deploys additional troops, pushes more artillery near LoC
The Pakistan Army has increased the number of troops being deployed at the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. As per the reports, the artillery guns have also been placed close to the LoC in a bid to carry out shelling on the Indian side. Pakistan has also increased the infiltration after the abrogation of Article 370 on August 5. The launch pads are full of terrorists waiting to infiltrate." Also, the report stated that around 2,000 personnel of Pakistan’s special operations wing - Special Service Group (SSG) – have been deployed on the Line of Control.
