Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat elections: 71.1 percent voter turnout recorded The voting for the fifth phase of Jammu and Kashmir Panchayat Elections concluded on Thursday with 71.1% voter turnout recorded. More than 2,500 polling booths were set up for the fifth phase, including 769 polling stations and 1,743 centres of Jammu division. About 85.2% voters cast vote in Jammu division and 33.7% in Kashmir division. Reasi in Jammu recorded the highest polling of 89.1 per cent, while Pulawama in Kashmir recorded the lowest voting at 0.5 per cent. The voting began at 8 am and went on till 2 pm on Thursday.
