Jammu and Kashmir: Two terrorists apprehended in Baramulla in a joint operation, warlike stores recovered

Jammu and Kashmir: Two terrorists have been apprehended in Baramulla during a joint operation on Tuesday, where a warlike store has been recovered. The Central Reserve Police Force reported that 53rd Battalion of CRPF, Indian Army, and Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a joint operation and apprehended two terrorists in Baramulla. Also, the CRPF reported that some warlike stores have been recovered.

Pakistan has been violating ceasefire fire following the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir. Recently, Pakistan violated ceasefire in Rajouri, Poonch and other districts near Line of Control (LoC), last week. Recently, the incident of stone-pelting was reported in the valley, after such a long time. That incident of stone-pelting appeared the days after the relaxation of Section 144 of CrPC.

On Monday, Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik said, “We have abrogated article 370, and you will see in the coming days, we will work so much for the people of Kashmir, and create such circumstances, that people of PoK will start saying- see, that (Jammu and Kashmir) is the ideal place to live”. Likewise, Satya Pal Malik told that these restrictions were necessary to avoid any untoward situation in the valley.
