Mumbai (Maharashtra) , August 26: Vijay Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey's pan-India film made a grand opening on its opening day as the film earned around Rs 33.12 crore on the first day of its release.

The worldwide box office collection made a roaring start on the first day of its release. ‘Liger’-worldwide-box-office-day-1-collection-3 Also Read: Sidhu Moosewala’s new song ‘Jaandi Vaar’ to be out soon However, the film failed to impress the audience but ‘Liger’ had advanced booking  due to the extensive promotional events across the country. The announcement of the worldwide box office collection was made on the official twitter handle of Dharma Productions and they revealed that the film managed to collect Rs 33.12 crore on its opening day. Their post read, "The #LigerHuntBegins at the box office delivering a solid punch on day 1! (sic)." Meanwhile, backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Production, the film stars Ramya Krishnan. The film revolve around a young guy named Liger and his widowed mother Balamani (Ramya Krishnan), who have come from Telangana to Mumbai because she wants to see her son become a national MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) champion. The film was released on August 25 and the crucial lead roles in the film are done by Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Makarand Deshpande, Ali and boxing legend Mike Tyson. -PTC News-
