Ahmedabad, Gujarat, July 30: In the early hours of Sunday, a fire incident occurred at Rajasthan Hospital in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, resulting in the safe evacuation of approximately 100 patients as a precautionary measure, according to officials at the scene.

The fire was reported to have originated in the basement of the multi-storey hospital, located in the Sahibaug area of the city, at approximately 4:30 am. As soon as the authorities were informed, fire fighting teams promptly rushed to the scene to control the blaze. However, smoke continued to emerge from the affected area, posing a challenge to the responders.


Police Inspector MD Champavat, present at the site, confirmed that the firefighting teams were diligently working to bring the situation under control and prevent further escalation of the fire.
