Pakistan's unprovoked firing along LoC continues for 6th day, Indian Army responds

PTC News Desk: The Pakistan Army on Tuesday continued with unprovoked firing along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir for sixth consecutive day. The flare-up comes amid escalating tensions between the two countries following the Pahalgam attack, in which Pakistan-based terrorists killed 26 people.

The Indian Army also swiftly responded to assert control and ensure security along the border. Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) was also briefed on the current situation and the ceasefire violations by Pakistan Army.

According to the reports, the security forces also have the videos of at least 20 Pakistani personnel involved in the violation of ceasefire.

Earlier on Tuesday, PM Modi chaired a high level meeting at his residence to review the security situation. During the review, Prime Minister granted complete freedom of operation to all the armed forces to determine the mode, targets, and timing of India’s response to the Pahalgam Terror Attack.
