Salman Khan house firing: The Mumbai Police have issued a look out circular (LOC) against jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi in connection with the firing outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan's residence at Bandra's Galaxy apartments.
Anmol and Lawrence Bishnoi have been identified as wanted accused in the case. According to officials, Anmol Bishnoi stays in Canada and travels to the United States; however, the IP address of the Facebook post in which he claimed responsibility for the firing was traced back to Portugal.
The official also stated that police are likely to take custody of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is currently being held in a jail in Sabarmati, Gujarat, and that the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) would be invoked in the case.
Anmol Bishnoi allegedly claimed responsibility for firing gunshots outside the actor's home in a social media post. Police have identified him as a wanted suspect in the case.
Notably, Anmol Bishnoi is also accused of the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. He is currently absconding and has fled abroad on a fake passport. In April of last year, he was seen partying in the United States with Punjabi singers Karan Aujla and Sharry Maan.
