Swati Maliwal assault case: Arvind Kejriwal’s close aide Bibhav Kumar denied bail
Swati Maliwal assault case: Delhi Court denied bail to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s aide Bibhav Kumar in the Swati Maliwal alleged assault case on Monday.
Kumar is in judicial custody after being arrested by the Delhi Police following a FIR filed by Swati Maliwal. He is accused of assaulting her at Kejriwal's home on May 13.
Maliwal, who was also present in court for the hearing, broke down while the defence attorney was arguing the case.
"They have a huge troll machinery, and they have pumped it," she stated in court. "Party leaders took the accused to Mumbai and Lucknow. If this accused is freed on bail, there will be a threat to me and my family," she said.
