Uttar Pradesh: Woman, 43 elopes with daughter's father-in-law in Badaun
PTC News Desk:In another shocking and unusual incident, a woman from Badau identified as Mamta having four children eloped with her daughter's father-in-law identified as Shailendra alias Billu.
The woman's husband, Sunil Kumar, said that he came home only twice a month and in his absence, his wife Mamta invited her daughter's father-in-law at home. Mamta's son also said that he would be asked to go to another room whenever Shailendra visited.
The two reportedly eloped in order to avoid any encounter with family members likely to pose objection.
According to the reports, Mamta developed a relationship with Shailendra after one of her daughter got married in 2022. Mamta's husband Sunil Kumar, who is a truck driver said that he regularly sent money home during his long trips, Mamta would often invite Shailendra home when he was not present.
“I drive a truck and come home only once or twice a month. I used to send money on time, but my wife Mamta used to call my samadhi (daughter’s father-in-law) home and engage in an affair. Now, she has run away with him, taking jewellery and cash," said Sunil Kumar.
The woman's neighbours also established the claims and said that in Sunil's absence, Mamta would often call Shailendra home and since he was a relative, no one suspected anything.
