Chandigarh, March 17: Following a major blow in five states Assembly elections 2022, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) chief Navjot Singh Sidhu on Wednesday tendered his resignation from the post. Navjot Singh Sidhu's resignation as PPCC President came after Congress President Sonia Gandhi asked the PCC Presidents of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Goa, and Manipur to put in their resignations in order to facilitate reorganisation of PCCs. In his resignation, he wrote, "I hereby resign as President (PPCC)."
