Nirbhaya Rape Case: Delhi court on Friday issued a fresh death warrant for convicts for February 1 at 6 am. Earlier, the court has issued a death warrant against all the four convicts and the execution was to be held on January 22 at 7 am. While the court had announced the execution on Jan 22, Asha Devi, mother of 2012 Delhi gang-rape victim had said that “My daughter has got justice. Execution of the four convicts will empower the women of the country. Date to date, date to date. Our system is just listening to the convicts. Now, sll the four convicts — Mukesh (32) Vinay Sharma (26), Akshay Kumar Singh (31) and Pawan Gupta (25) – will be hanged on February 1 at 6 am in Tihar jail. Earlier, Public Prosecutor appearing for Tihar jail authorities informed the court that the convict Mukesh Singh has been officially intimated about the rejection of his mercy plea. -PTC News
