Nurses of Civil Hospital in Panchkula thrash doctor for ‘molesting’ colleague
In a major incident, some nurses and women staff of the Civil Hospital in Panchkula thrashed a doctor for allegedly molesting a nurse in the isolation ward.
According to the information, the psychiatrist had molested a nurse in the isolation ward of the hospital on the night of July 11.
Meanwhile, the nurses staged a protest near the office of the Principal Medical Officer (PMO) for four hours. Afterward, the nurses thrashed the suspect, Dr. Manoj Kumar, in the office of the PMO. Reportedly, the nurses broke the glass of the office of PMO Sarita Yadav.
As the situation went out of control, the police were informed after which it rushed to the spot. Likewise, violent protest had ended. After receiving information that the doctor had come to the office of PMO to join the investigation, the staff nurses started arriving at the PMO office at around 12.45 pm and started raising slogans.

The nurses were asking to sack the doctor. Also, the doctor was thrashed who was sitting in a room in front of the PMO office. The nurses have also alleged that the senior officers were trying to defend the doctor.
