Two killed, several injured in massive bus-tipper collision on Amritsar-Batala road
PTC News Desk: At least two people were killed and several injured in a major road accident near Gopalpura village on the Amritsar-Batala road here on Wednesday.
According to DSP Dharminder Kalyan, a private bus collided with a tipper truck that took a sudden U-turn near the village.
Senior superintendent of police, Amritsar Rural, Suhail Qasim Mir initially informed that one person died in the accident.
Notably police managed to seize the tipper, however driver fled the scene.
