Punjab BJP President Ashwani Sharma writes to NCSC, seeks action against Ravneet Bittu
Punjab BJP President Ashwani Sharma on Wednesday wrote a letter to National Commission for Scheduled Castes seeking action against Congress Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu for hurting the sentiments of the Dalit community.
Ashwani Sharma handed over the letter to National Commission for Scheduled Castes President Vijay Sampla in which he stated that the Co
ngress' double standards on Dalits are condemnable.

Ravneet Bittu had questioned Shiromani Akali Dal for giving away “pious” seats like Anandpur Sahib and Chamkaur Sahib to the BSP.

Meanwhile, the members of BJP Punjab met Vijay Sampla seeking action against Ravneet Bittu for hurting the sentiments of the Dalit Community.
He urged the SC Commission to take action against him and set an example so that nobody could make a joke on the community.
He also said that Sikh gurus have preached equality in all communities and we have got this equality even under the constitution of India.
Bittu's statement has exposed the anti-Dalit thinking of the Congress party, he said. Likewise, the party has demanded justice for the Dalit community and action into the matter.
