Punjab: Jatha of 1,303 Sikh pilgrims leaves for Nankana Sahib in Pakistan from Attari-Wagah border

A 'Jatha' of Sikh pilgrims departed for Nankana Sahib in Pakistan from Attari-Wagah border on Tuesday to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary celebrations of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji. Sources said the jatha comprises 1,303 Sikh pilgrims led by Shiromani Committee member Gurmeet Singh Buh, Baba Charanjit Singh Jasowal and Bibi Ravinder Kaur. https://twitter.com/ANI/status/1191601676005728256 India and Pakistan signed an agreement to operationalize Kartarpur Corridor on October 24. For the first time, non-visa movement has been initiated across the border despite tensions between the two countries. Kartarpur Corridor will be inaugurated on November 9.
