SAD delegation led by Sukhbir Singh Badal met EAM to take up the issue of security of Sikhs in Pakistan

Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) delegation led by party president Sukhbir Singh Badal on Monday met Minister of External Affairs of India, Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, to take up the issue of security of Sikhs in Pakistan. The delegation has submitted a memorandum to the External Affairs Minister. SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal said, "Our holiest shrine Nankana Sahab in Pakistan was attacked, also a Sikh youth was murdered in Pakistan." He added that: "We feel hurt that the Pakistan PM hasn't reacted and hasn't given any assurance to Sikh community. We have requested the govt of India that the issue should be taken up at all international forums including United Nation."  Earlier, Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal took to twitter and wrote: "A SAD delegation led by party president Sukhbir S Badal will meet EAM Dr S Jaishankar today and urge him to take up the issue of security of Sikhs in Pakistan with its govt on emergent basis following hate attack at Nankana Sahib and murder of Sikh youth in Peshawar." Also, Harsimrat Kaur Badal targeted Punjab CM and wrote: "Captain Amarinder Singh, another Sikh has been killed just because his brother, the first Sikh news anchor in Pakistan, raised his voice against persecution of minorities there. How many more Sikhs need to die before you and your Congress stop this double speak?" https://www.ptcnews.tv/jnu-violence-mob-carrying-lathis-rods-seen-roaming-in-campus-after-attack-en/ Likewise, she questioned Congress leader Rahul Gandhi "How much blood has to be spilled before Rahul Gandhi and his coterie come to their senses? After vandalisaton of Gurdwara Nankana Sahib, now a Sikh youth has been shot dead in Peshawar. Killings of minorities in Pakistan underline the need for CAA, their hope for safe and dignified life." -PTC News
