UP: STF busts paper-solver gang, 4 held
Special Task Force busted a paper-solver gang and arrested 4 accused on Sunday in Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh. The STF Field Unit arrested 4 accused while they were taking examinations on the behalf of other candidates during Assistant Teacher Examination 2019.

STF also recovered five Adhar cards, out of which two were fake, two ATM cards, a PAN card, two voter ID cards and Rs 66,300 cash from them. The accused have been identified as Rajesh Kumar Yadav, Suresh Kumar Yadav, Nagendra Singh and Manohar Kumar Shah.

During the interrogation, the accused told the STF that they used to take 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh from the candidates. They used to give Rs 50,000 to the impersonator to take the exam on the behalf of candidate’s behalf.

The officials are investigating the matter thoroughly.
