Taranjeet Singh, a first-ever Sikh TV host in Pakistan completes his 10 years today
Taranjeet Singh, a young Sikh man from a very small minority in Pakistan braved hostility some 10 years ago to fulfil his dream of becoming first ever Sikh TV host in the country. He completed his 10 years of hosting TV shows today. His journey to Vice President of Art and Culture Advisory Committee, Pakistan may not be all smooth, but he surely worked very hard and gained prominence for his shows.

Taranjeet Singh, who wore a silver ‘Khanda’ around his neck, is from Peshawar who now lives in Lahore. He hosts a travel show on Pakistan Television. He has acted in various plays, hosted and organized more than 500 cultural, musical and fashion events.

He was appointed as Vice President of Art and Culture Advisory Committee on January 25, 2019. He has hosted 3 Pakistan Super League (PSL). He became the brand face of PSL. In the third season of PSL, he was the official ground announcer and host of PSL non-cricketing activities.
