Mansa, December 17: Almost seven months after the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala, his bullet-ridden Thar in which he was  travelling on the fateful day reached Musa village in Mansa late Friday evening.

The court has handed over the Thar and pistol of Sidhu Moosewala to his parents. The court has prohibited make any changes to it.


Sidhu Moosewala was gunned down on May 29 at Jawaharke village in Mansa district of Punjab.
Even seven months after his death, the late singers's fans continue to visit his parents at Musa village in Mansa.

A market with several stalls has come up at his memorial site, where owners of these stalls sell Moosewala’s merchandise. From T-shirts carrying his photos, posters and other things associated with the singer can be found at these stalls.

Still waiting for justice for their only son, his father Balkaur Singh and mother Charan Kaur have taken another step in this direction — they have now started a signature campaign.

A large number of the Punjabi singer’s fans are turning up at their residence in a show of solidarity on a daily basis. His father Balkaur Singh said they would take the register with the signatures to the Punjab Government and the court as evidence of public support for the cause. The register has been kept at their home.

Balkaur Singh said Moosewala's fans could write their feelings in this register. Balkaur Singh said many a time, he was not at home, due to which he could not meet the fans of his sons. Now, a register had been kept at home, where Moosewala's fans could express their feelings.
