Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway road rage: Three arrested after family attacked on highway
PTC Web Desk: A family travelling on the Bengaluru-Mysuru Expressway was allegedly attacked by a group of men following a minor road accident, prompting the police to arrest three persons in connection with the incident.
A video of the incident, recorded on the dashcam of another vehicle, has been widely shared on social media. The footage appears to show a Maruti Suzuki Alto being stopped on the highway before several men surround the car, pull the driver out and assault him while his family remains inside.
According to reports, the incident took place around 10.30 pm on Sunday near Maddur when traffic was heavy.

The police said the fight reportedly began after the Alto collided with a Maruti Suzuki Swift travelling ahead. What started as an argument between the occupants of the two vehicles soon turned into a physical confrontation.
The driver's wife is seen stepping out of the car in an attempt to stop the assault, while a few passersby also try to intervene. The family travelling in the Alto included the couple, their children and an elderly woman.

The injured driver later approached the police and filed a complaint. Based on the investigation, three persons have been arrested. Further legal proceedings are underway.
The video drew widespread attention online, with many users tagging police officials and demanding strict action against those involved.
Several people expressed concern over road safety and rising incidents of road rage. Many users urged authorities to take strong action to discourage such behaviour and ensure the safety of commuters on highways.
