Woman's body removed from burning pyre as police suspect foul play
Sensing a foul play, Uttar Pradesh police removed a 50-year-old woman’s burning body from pyre on Thursday in Godhna village in Muzaffarnagar. Police booked her husband and four others in a foul play in her death.

According to the media reports, police received information from woman’s brother that her in-laws had killed her. They were secretly trying to cremate the body in order to destroy the evidence. Acting on this information, the police reached the cremation spot and pulled out the body from the funeral that was already lit.

The police has sent the body for post-mortem. The SHO of the region told the media that all the accused have gone absconding. A case has been registered against the accused under certain sections of the IPC.
