The crocodiles residing there had seized the opportunity and tragically devoured the young child.
Siem Reap, known as the gateway city to the world-renowned ruins of Angkor Wat, hosts several crocodile farms. These establishments primarily rear crocodiles for various purposes, such as their eggs, skins, meat, and the trade of their offspring. The loss of life in this tragic event has left the local community in shock and mourning. It serves as a somber reminder of the dangers that can arise when interacting with wild animals, even under controlled circumstances.
