Whistleblower testifies: US government holds 'nonhuman' UFOs, Congress urged to investigate

Washington DC, July 27: A UFO whistleblower testified before Congress, claiming that the US government possesses secret alien spacecraft. Retired Major David Grusch, a former US Air Force intelligence officer, urged Congress to hold the government accountable. Grusch previously led the analysis of unexplained anomalous phenomena (UAP), the military's term for UFOs, within a US Department of Defense agency. According to ABC, Grusch alleged that the US has in its possession spacecraft of nonhuman origin.

During the House Oversight Committee's national security subcommittee hearing, Grusch stated, "I am asking Congress to hold our government to this standard and thoroughly investigate these claims," while affirming that he was speaking truthfully under oath.

Grusch revealed that in 2019, the head of a government task force on UAPs tasked him with identifying highly classified programs. Responding to Representative Nancy Mace from South Carolina, Grusch disclosed that bodies had been recovered from crashed alien spacecraft and that they were of nonhuman origin. He cited conversations with individuals currently involved in the program to support this claim.

When questioned about the program's start date and authorization, Grusch explained that much of that information was classified and couldn't be publicly disclosed. Lawmakers expressed a desire to have private discussions with Grusch and other officials to gather more information.

During the bipartisan hearing, the House Oversight Committee's national security subcommittee emphasized the need for greater clarity on UAPs. Many lawmakers expressed concerns about the potential national security implications of unidentified aerial objects.

The hearing is part of a broader effort by lawmakers, intelligence officials, and military personnel to investigate unexplained aerial phenomena on a national level. Last month, the Pentagon stated that it had not found any verifiable information to substantiate claims about crashed alien spacecraft, as reported by ABC.
