2 medical students killed in a bike accident on Delhi’s Signature Bridge
Two medical students were killed in a road accident on Friday when the bike they were riding rammed into a divider on Signature Bridge in Delhi. The deceased, Satya Vijay Shankaran and Chandrashekhar, fell off the bridge (30Feet) around 8:45 am. The police suspected that they were trying to take a selfie while speeding on their KTM Duke bike.

One of the biker’s foot was allegedly caught in a stray wire from the streetlight. As the bike was moving at a high speed, their bike flung up in the air. Both the victims fell off the bridge, while their bike was dangling from the railing.

The bridge was opened to the public on November 4 after eight years of construction and this was the first accident at the bridge. Both Satya Vijay Shankaran and Chandrashekhar, were studying medicine at the Hindu Rao Medical College in north Delhi.
