35-year-old rape victim commits suicide in UP A 35-year-old rape victim committed suicide on Monday in Gonda district in Uttar Pradesh. The victim committed suicide by hanging herself at her home. He alleged that police did not conduct a thorough investigation because of which she didn’t get justice.

The police further told that two policemen have been suspended in this regard.
The woman was raped in February and August last year. The accused were identified as Shankar Dayal and his brother Shyam Kumar.

They both belong to Kernalganj and are absconding.
