Jind Railway Station Decorated with Flowers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to arrive in Jind shortly. Ahead of his visit, Jind Railway Station has been beautifully decorated with flowers, while elaborate security arrangements have been put in place.


The train has also been adorned with a variety of flowers, including marigolds, tuberoses, orchids, and other colourful blooms. Both the interior and exterior of the train have been decorated with floral arrangements.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi to flag off India's first hydrogen train from Jind, Haryana

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off India's first hydrogen-powered train from Jind on the Jind–Sonipat route.
  • He will also inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several major development projects in Haryana.
  • PM Modi will inaugurate the Kurukshetra Elevated Railway Track Project.
  • He will dedicate new medical colleges and hospitals in Bhiwani and Narnaul.
  • The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Delhi–Amritsar–Katra, Ambala–Kala Amb, and Jind–Gohana national highway projects.
  • He will lay the foundation stone for the Sikh Museum in Kurukshetra and the Hansi–Barwala National Highway project.
  • PM Modi is scheduled to arrive in Jind at 11 am.
  • Haryana Governor Asim Kumar Ghosh, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, and Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will attend the programme.
  • The Prime Minister will also address a public rally in Jind.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Chandigarh and Punjab today (July 17), where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for projects worth over ₹12,070 crore.


The Prime Minister is expected to arrive in Chandigarh at around 1:15 pm and will address a public rally in a centrally air-conditioned tent built at a cost of around ₹2 crore. He is scheduled to stay there for about 45 minutes.


After Chandigarh, PM Modi will travel to Jalandhar, where he has four official engagements.


Heavy security arrangements have been made for the visit, with more than 10,000 police personnel and security officials deployed across Chandigarh and Jalandhar.

Punjab BJP highlights redevelopment of railway stations across Punjab

PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Punjab on Friday (July 17) to launch three major highway projects worth Rs 5,278 crore in the Chandigarh Tricity region. The projects are aimed at improving road connectivity and reducing traffic congestion.


During the visit, PM Modi will inaugurate the Zirakpur-Kurali Greenfield Highway and lay the foundation stone for the Zirakpur Bypass and the Chandigarh Airport-Aerocity Greenfield Highway. These projects are expected to make travel smoother and help ease traffic in the Tricity area.

In Punjab’s Jalandhar, preparations are under way as PM Modi's visit will  be marked by the inauguration of Jalandhar Cantonment railway station along with virtual inauguration of 74 other redeveloped railway stations under Amrit Bharat Station scheme.

 

The Prime Minister is also scheduled to flag off the Sant Ravidas Express, a new train connecting Amritsar with Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
