Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann discharged from Fortis Hospital after six days of admission

CM Mann was hospitalised last Friday evening after experiencing exhaustion, low heart rate, viral fever, digestive issues, and fluctuating blood pressure.

PTC News Desk: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann discharged from the Fortis Hospital, Mohali on Thursday evening after days long admission. 


CM Mann was hospitalised last Friday evening after experiencing exhaustion, low heart rate, viral fever, digestive issues, and fluctuating blood pressure. Initial treatment began at home, but his condition did not improve, prompting admission to the hospital. 


His visit to flood-affected areas was also cancelled due to his illness. 

Punjab CM will hold a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of flood-affected areas at 11 am on Friday. After getting discharged, he took to his social media and confirmed the same. 


"I will hold a meeting tomorrow at 11 am to review the flood situation, in which the Deputy Commissioners of the flood-affected areas will participate in the via video conference and the Secretary and Chief Secretary will reach my Chandigarh residence," he said. 


He further said, "The meeting is being held in order to discuss the compensation and medical facilities being made available to the people and other concrete steps being undertaken to deal with the flood situation.
