Chhattisgarh: Constable arrested for raping 6-yr-old daughter A police constable has been arrested on Wednesday for raping his 6-year –old daughter in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. Also Read: Fugitive jeweller Nirav Modi arrested in London According to the complaint filed by the victim’s mother, the rape took place on March 29. The accused raped his daughter at home. He also threatened the victim not to disclose it to anyone. But, the victim informed her mother about the incident, who later approached the police. Acting on the complaint filed, the police arrested the accused. The police has booked him under Sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
