Drugs case: SAD leader Bikram Singh Majithia files anticipatory bail in Mohali court
Mohali: Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia, who has been booked in the drugs case, on Thursday filed an anticipatory bail in the Mohali Court. On late December 20 evening, the Punjab Police had booked Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader and former minister Bikram Singh Majithia under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act. On Thursday, he filed the anticipatory bail , which is likely to be heard today (December 23) by the Mohali court. Shiromani Akali Dal patron Parkash Singh Badal had termed the registration of the case as the worst example of political vendetta. “We have been airing our fears about such a vendetta. We will fight the injustice,” he said while talking to reporters in Muktsar.
