From vacating railway stations to staging Chakka jam, here are major announcements by Punjab farmers
Farmers protest, Chakka Jam: Amid Rail Roko agitation against the Centre's farm laws 2020, Farmers union representative Kulwant Singh Sandhu Wednesday announced that Punjab farmers will vacate the railway station.
Briefing about Farmers protest, Kulwant Singh Sandhu said that the central government wanted to pressurize Punjab farmers.

Punjab was suffering due to the intransigence of the Central Government, he said, adding that the behavior of the Center was undemocratic.

Meanwhile, nationwide 'Chakka jam' will be staged on November 5 in order to raise voice of farmers against the Farm Laws 2020.
The next meeting regarding the Farmers protest will be held on November 18, during which the next strategy will be decided.
Likewise, the farmers organisation have decided to extend the relaxation for the movement of goods trains in Punjab for next 15 days.
Farmers will vacate the railway station and its platforms and continue to stage dharnas outside the stations.
Apart from updates on Rail Roko agitation, the Punjab farmers announced that they will continue to gherao toll plazas and shopping malls in Punjab.
