Fuel price Hike: Opposition raises issue of rise in petrol and diesel prices in India
Petrol and diesel prices in India: Rajya Sabha on Tuesday was adjourned till 12 pm as Opposition MPs raised slogans, demanding a discussion on the fuel price hike.
Congress MP Manish Tewari had given an adjournment of business motion in Lok Sabha to discuss the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and LPG.

Similarly, the Opposition raised the issue of a hike in fuel price in Lok Sabha.
Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh stated that during the remaining part of the Budget session, members will be seated in Rajya Sabha chambers and its Gallery only, with some physical distancing.

Thus, 142 seats were made available in the Rajya Sabha chamber while the remaining members had to sit in the Gallery.
The petrol and diesel prices in India are at an all-time high due to which a common man is suffering. While the fuel rates are high at various places, there are some places where it reached Rs 100 per litre.
Meanwhile, Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had said that both the States and Centre need to discuss the issue and find out a solution regarding the same.
