Income Tax Department raids at People Conference leader Imran Raza Ansari's properties
Income Tax department conducted raids at People Conference leader Imran Raza Ansari's properties in Srinagar on Thursday. I-T department raided a commercial building owned by Imran Raza Ansari located in Karan Nagar in Srinagar. It houses several offices in it. Most of the offices deal with medical-surgical items and medicines.

The Income Tax raid is underway.
According to an affidavit filed by People Conference leader, he owns various businesses and has total assets worth Rs 66.54 crores. He is the brother of former Minister and Shia leader Imran Ansari. He also moveable assets worth Rs 7.34 crore, including a three Mercedes.

Imran Raza Ansari is contesting from the Srinagar parliamentary constituency against National Conference's leader Farooq Abdullah. Polls for the seat were held on April 18.
