India COVID-19: Cases cross 71-lakh mark; Spike of 66,732 new cases

India’s COVID-19 tally crosses 71-lakh mark with a spike of 66,732 new cases & 816 deaths reported in the last 24 hours.

According to Union Health Ministry, total case tally stands at 71,20,539 including 8,61,853 active cases, 61,49,536 cured/discharged/migrated cases & 1,09,150 deaths.

The worst affected state is Maharashtra with 221,615 active cases, 1255779 recovered cases, 40040 deceased, 1517434 recovered cases.

Andhra Pradesh is the second worst affected state 46624 active cases, 697699 recovered cases, 6194 deceased and 750517 confirmed cases.
