PSEB declares Class 5 result: Jaspreet Kaur, Navdeep Kaur and Gurnoor Singh Dhaliwal get top three positions

PSEB declares Class 5 result: Jaspreet Kaur and Navdeep Kaur of Mansa have secured the first and second positions, respectively, while Gurnoor Singh Dhaliwal from Faridkot has got the third position in Class 5, the results of which were announced by the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) on Thursday.

As per the details shared by the Punjab School Education Board, at least 2,93,84 candidates had appeared as regular, of which 2,92,947 have passed. Their pass percentage stands at 99.69. The pass percentage of girls is 99.74 and that of boys is 99.65. Pass percentage of transgender is 100. The district-wise pass percentage is Barnala (99.86); Tarn Taran (99.86); Roopnagar (99.85); SBS Nagar (99.84); Amritsar (99.81); Hoshiarpur (99.62); Ludhiana ( 99.56); SAS Nagar (99.49); Jalandhar (99.68); and Sangrur (99.69).

Barnala district recorded the highest pass percentage while the lowest was reported in SAS Nagar (99.49).


Jaspreet Kaur who has secured the first position (500/500) is a student of Government Primary School (Mansa). The second position holder, Navdeep Kaur is also from Mansa district while the third position holder, Gurnoor Singh Dhaliwal, is student of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Convent School, (Faridkot). He has also secured 500/500.
